Marquette, MI, September 30, 2026 — The Marquette Maritime Museum is set to conclude its operational season with a unique event: a haunted lighthouse tour. Details regarding the specific dates and times for this concluding tour were not provided in the available information. The nature of the ‘haunted’ aspect of the tour also remains unspecified, leaving room for speculation about whether it will feature historical accounts, theatrical elements, or other interpretations of the paranormal.

As the museum wraps up its regular season, this special event aims to offer a different kind of visitor experience. Lighthouses, often situated in remote and historic locations, have frequently been the subject of folklore and ghost stories, making them a natural setting for such an event. However, specific details about which lighthouse will be featured, its history, or any specific narratives that will be presented during the tour are not currently available.

Information regarding ticket availability, pricing, or any age restrictions for the haunted lighthouse tour has not been disclosed. Typically, museums announce such details well in advance of an event to allow interested parties to plan their attendance. The absence of this information suggests that further announcements may be forthcoming, or that specific details were not part of the initial summary provided.

The Marquette Maritime Museum’s decision to host a haunted lighthouse tour marks the end of its seasonal programming. The museum’s standard operational schedule and the types of exhibits or programs typically offered during its open season were not detailed in the information provided. This event signifies a shift from regular museum activities to a more specialized, potentially seasonal, offering as the year draws to a close.

The contractor or entity responsible for organizing and conducting the haunted lighthouse tour was not identified. Without this information, it is difficult to ascertain any prior experience or specific qualifications related to organizing similar events. The specific operational details and logistics of the tour, such as duration, group sizes, and the exact route, also remain to be clarified.
