Harraden Circle Investments, LLC (“Harraden”), a New York-based, research-driven investment firm, today announced the appointment of David Walch as Portfolio Manager, effective November 1, 2026. Walch joins Harraden after 14 years at King Street Capital Management, where he was most recently Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager.

At Harraden, Walch will work alongside Founder and Chief Investment Officer Fritz Fortmiller to develop and co-manage a new opportunistic strategy spanning public and private markets, including privately negotiated transactions. The new strategy complements Harraden’s existing event-driven strategy. It will build on the firm’s existing investment capabilities while drawing on Walch’s experience across corporate credit, structured credit, real estate, and real assets.

Walch brings nearly three decades of investment experience across corporate credit, structured credit, real estate, and real assets. At King Street, where he spent fourteen years, he was most recently Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager, with senior responsibility across the firm’s investment activities. He served on the firm’s Management, Global Investment, Real Estate Investment, and Risk Committees. He was previously a Managing Director at Perry Capital and an Associate in Morgan Stanley’s real estate group. Walch holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University.
